Wrestling's Greatest Heel

Without a doubt Randy Orton is one of the greatest heels of his generation!

Let's face it, Randy Orton has got the skills to become a wrestling legend himself one day. He has the skills that are required to get it done in the ring and has tons and tons of charisma. I have been following Randy Orton's career since he started wrestling with Evolution and I must say that he was impressive. A holder of the Intercontinental title aswell as winning the the
World heavyweight title at the tender age of 24 great things was to come for the "legend killer".

Randy is the victim of some pporly directed angles from the WWE creative team losing multiple matches the past couple of months and most recently against Jeff Hardy. I believe that Orton could be the one thing WWE seriously lacks at this moment - HEEL. Although he has been suspended his comeback should have been nothing short of spectacular but no, he gets put into his first match against Kurt Angle which he loses. WWE doesn't need to get him over with the crowd as a heel using cheap heat such as insulting the guerreros and being a coward, they should once again give him a title (any WWE title!) and watch him flourish.

On a last note: Who else has the total package (Can be a Heel, Face, has charisma, Talent, Gets over easily with the fans)? I can think only of Kurt Angle but he has left, Triple H and HBK are veterans. Randy Orton is wrestling's future -

IT'S NOT ARROGANCE...IT'S DESTINY

WWE: Rob Van Dam and Sabu Latest

RVD and Sabu appeared today with their attorneys in Ironton Municipal Court. RVD was found guilty ofpossessing marijuana and was fined $100. Sabu was found guilty of having prescription medication not prescribed to him and was fined $500.WSAZ, the local NBC station, showed video of the two in court today as RVD and Sabu both flipped off thecamera. -Lordsofpain.net

Thes two was probably the greatest pioneers for extreme wrestling today and it's unfortunate that they had to do such things. RVD defenitely bore the brunt of the punishment which I think was unfair. No doubt that this will have an impact on these guys. RVD - the true "High" Flier!

Confirmed: 2 TNA Stars Quit!

Former TNA stars Monty Brown and Ron Killings have departed from their promotion. It is rumoured that Monty Brown will likely sign with rival promotion WWE. Killings, on the other hand is reported to be going back to RXLL in Mexico. I For one would like to see Monty Brown on WWE television, he was a great star on TNA and would be a great asset. Monty Brown blames the direction of his character with his departure (working with Trytan didn't suit him well) Apparantly the WWE is seeing TNA has potential competition and are currently setting their site on AJ Styles of all people! I have a feeling this is gonna be just like the "Monday Night Wars" one day!...... I CANT WAIT

Summerslam Results 2006

The Results from the Summerslam PPV are as follows:

Chavo Guerrero def. Rey Mysterio

A bad feud to begin with, the rivalry between Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero that started at The Great American Bash came to a head at Summerslam. The match saw Rey Mysterio pulling off arial moves and sending Chavo to the outside. Both men even used Eddie's signature "Three Amigos" suplexes! Ultimately it was Chavo getting the win when Vicky Guerrero caused Rey to lose his balance from the top rope and fall to the mat.

Big Show (ECW Champion) def. Sabu

After Sabu was denied facing the Big Show in the weeks leading up to Summerslam, he eventually got his chance. Sabu was pulling out all the stops and showed what extreme wrestling is all about. Unfortunately Sabu's hard work was in vain as The Big Show gave Sabu an extremely powerful chokeslam through a table to get the pin over an exhausted Sabu.

Hulk Hogan def. Randy Orton

First things first, I thought this rivalry had great potential and could have been the one moment that would cement Randy Orton's place as an absolute great. The rivalry started back at Saturday Night's Main Event when Brooke Hogan and Randy Orton met each over. Hogan suffered a knee injury in the weeks prior which made him an easy target for the Legend Killer. This was however not the case, although Orton Isolated Hogan's knee, he couldn't stop the force of Hulkamania. With the big boot and leg drop combo a victory wasn't far away for The Hulkster. Hulkamania ran wild on Randy Orton.......Who cares?

Ric Flair def. Mick Foley in an "I Quit Match"

This feud was fuelled by personal hatred for each other with Flair going as far as to call Mick Foley a glorified stuntman. I was actually shocked to see a guy of Ric Flair's age bringing it to a hardcore legend like Mick Foley. The bout was filled with blood, thumbtacks and barbed-wire! Before the match though, Foley seemed unnerved at the intensity that Flair had at attackinf Foley at ECW. When the dust settled it was Foley uttering the words "I Quit" in front of 16 000 fans.

Batista def. King Booker (World Heavyweight Champion) by DQ

A Rivalry that was every bit as personal as it was exciting, Batista and King Booker really gave it their all to entertain the crowd. It was a see-saw battle seeing Booker almost defeating Batista with a scissor's kick, however Batista countered it with a lovely Jackhammer suplex. Needless to say that Queen Sharmell interfered thus causing a disqualification and King Booker retaining the gold.

Degeneration X def. The Mcmahons (Vince and Shane)

Although the Mcmahons brought in reinforcements including: The Big Show, Umaga, The Spirit Squad, Mr. Kennedy and more, DX prevailed in a good showing. At one point Shawn Michaels even gave Shane 'O Mac a Sweet Chin Music in mid air. All in all this was an exciting match with DX reaping the rewards.

Edge (WWE Champion) def. John Cena

Before the match a confident Edge told WWE.com that he was a master tactitian and he would leave the building with the strap around his waist. Although Edge used some brass knuckles to capture the win, it is no doubt that Edge is a great champion. Hey a win is a win. :-)

The Future Of The Wwe?

Who is the future of wrestling today?

I'm going to asess the talent that the WWE has onboard and has the potential to change the face of wrestling as we know it. A Few superstars coming to mind has to be:

  • Mr. Kennedy -

Hailing from Greenbay Wisconsin Misterrrrrrrrr Kennnedyyy...Kennedy A great up and comer in the business. Has two legit victories over the Ă„nimal" Batista. He probably has the most tremendous mic skills i've seen in a long while. Mr. Kennedy or Ken Kennedy as he is also known is sure to make a huge impact in the years to come, expect him to wear gold in the near furure!

  • Carlito "Carribean" Cool -

A Great athlete without a doubt, he has won the both the United States title and Intercontinental title on his debut on RAW and Smackdown respectively. This man has great charisma and exeptional talent. Latest on WWE.com is that he and Trish Stratus is an item! I'm personally in favour of his current push as a face and like to see him rip it up with unique moves such as the backcracker. Now That's Cool!

  • Shelton Benjamin -

A Former golden gopher, he has trained with the likes of Brock Lesanr and formed one of the top tag teams in their day "The world's greatest tag team" with Charlie Haas. He has won the I.C Championship valiantly and continues to impress fans throughout the globe with unparralelled skills and ability. One of the greatest matches i've seen in a while was the triple threat match pitting Carlito, Jhonny Nitro and Benjamin himself together.

  • Randy Orton -

Love him or hate him, Randy Orton is a legend in the making. He has defeated Chris Benoit back in 2004 earning him the World Heavyweight Championship at the ripe age of 24, has defeated numerous legends including: The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Mick Foley etc. Unfortunately it seems that Orton is getting a bad break nowadays being suspended for misconduct and smoking marijuana. Although he has attended anger management classes and is looking in better than ever, he still gets stuck with poor storylines. The Legend Killer might be killed himself if WWE creative change things soon! It's not arrogance...It's Destiny!
